Clinical Simulation is a constructive learning methodology that focuses on the student; developing in him cognitive, practical, communication and teamwork abilities and skills, of daily use in his professional career. Its characteristics are innovative, formative, evolutionary, didactic and reflective.

At the UCIMED Clinical Simulation Center we work with low, medium and high technology simulators; as well as with a standardized patient with the UCIMED Hospital program. The medical-teaching staff is trained in the methodology to be able to carry out an adequate simulation that meets the learning objectives of the proposed courses.

It has been shown that learning in clinical simulation environments is more effective; since it is more frequent that activities occur at high levels of the Miller pyramid compared to conventional didactics. Simulation does not come to replace the conventional clinic. They complement each other to add value to the academic and professional excellence of our future doctors.
