We are a Physiotherapy Care Center located in the UCIMED facilities that opened its doors in July 2015, and whose objective is to provide high-quality services to the Costa Rican community in the different and varied areas of physiotherapy.
Functional training focused on physically conditioning the elderly in muscular strength, resistance, cardiorespiratory capacity, coordination and balance.
Adaptation of specific exercises for the treatment and rehabilitation of any musculoskeletal injury.
Treatments to accelerate the convalescence of people after a surgical intervention.
We work to take advantage of the learning capacity and brain adaptability by enhancing childs sensory, gross and fine motor development. We employ different means of intervention such as exercises, games, sensory stimuli that enhance cognitive, physical, emotional and social brain functions.
Treatments for neurological injuries to recover motor capacity, functional brain as a result of any trauma, disease or disorder that affects the nervous system.
Treatment of pain in joints, ligaments, tendons, arthritis affections, muscle contractures, tendinopathies (in the shoulder, knee, ankle and others), low back pain, cervical pain among others.
